No.12. - Charles the astrologer's corner, Telegraph and Channing, where he has been setting up his chair and table as a ‘Psychic & Astrologer’ for years. In one article a woman wrote, “… we walked further down Telegraph Avenue in search of a psychic because I wanted a reading. Finally, across from Rasputin Music Store, we saw someone who looked promising. His name is Charles, and his setup was just a giant umbrella and a table on the corner of Telegraph and some side street. He asked for my name and birthdate, computed something, then proceeded to get a numerology cheat sheet and told me basically that I'm a ‘seven’ and that I'm psychic for an Aries. He then proceeded to some astrology then some tarot. My dears, for just 15 dollars, in short, this lean and lanky, Ric Ocasek-dead ringer really blew my mind. Charles really rocked my world with his honesty, exhortation, encouragement, and advice!”
